Gifts, Gifts and More Gifts

I thought I would give you some ideas on the types of gifts you can give your residents for renewing their leases with you…and some ideas of quirky gifts that you can give our throughout the year…Gifts that will help you improve the apartment:

  • New appliance
  • Ceiling Fan
  • Paint a room (or the whole apartment)
  • New bath or kitchen faucets
  • Carpet cleaning
  • GFL Light Bulbs (to help them save money)
  • Water saving shower heads
  • New blinds

Gifts just for your residents:

  • Gift cards to restaurants
  • Gas cards
  • Signing bonus (so much off their rent during their anniversary month)
  • Front row parking (you can do this in days or weeks and it is based on the number of years they have been with you…say someone is signing a lease for their 5th year…you can give them 5 days or weeks of close parking)
  • Send a flowers to their work or have it waiting for them on their kitchen table when they get home…with a note that says:  “Thank you for planting your roots with us.”

Quirky Gifts:

  • Some mints with a note that says: “We think you are a MINT of a resident and we’re happy you’re here.”
  • An almond joy candy bar, with a note that says: “We are overJOYed that you are here.”
  • A small packet of peanuts, with a note that says:  “We are just NUTS about you.”
  • A bag of Reeses pieces with a note that says:  “We’d go to PIECES without you.”
  • Get some plastic eggs and fill with candy and put a note that says:  “We are EGGcited to have you as a resident.”
  • A bag of Gummy Bears, with a note that says: “We couldn’t BEAR it if you weren’t here.”

These are just some quick ideas for resident gifts…be creative, take a look around the candy aisle to see if you can come up with a quirky note for a candy bar…look through catalogs and see if you can change an idea to fit your purpose…ideasa are all around youl..you just need to start looking…
